Starting from the standard shrink chuck, which can already cover a large number of applications, the Power Shrink Chuck was developed through close cooperation with customers in the aerospace industry. In this way, much larger machining volumes and a significantly longer tool life could be achieved, e.g. in aluminium machining. At the same time, the Safe Lock safety system also prevented creeping tool pull-out in extremely critical applications.

The last further development in the evolution of HAIMER shrink linings is the Heavy Duty Chuck. The extremely rigid outer contour and the reinforced wall thickness in the clamping area make it a profitable fock for maximum performance, e.g. in titanium machining in the aerospace industry or in large mechanical engineering.
